Make Homemade ginger beer – refreshing drink that heal a lot upsets!

FERMENTED BEVERAGE OF GINGER
5 cm minced fresh root ginger
½ cup brown sugar
½ cup lemon juice
¼ teaspoon sea salt
8 cups water
½ cup culture of ginger (the recipe for preparing the crop of ginger is below)
- Boil three cups of water, ginger, sugar and salt.
- Allow to simmer about 5 minutes to dissolve the sugar.
- Add the rest of the water and allow to cool to room temperature.
- Add the lemon juice and ginger culture.
- Beer pour it into a glass jar and tightly close not to enter air.
- Allow to stand 2-3 days to become fizzy and sparkling if you want without alcohol. If you leave it longer, it will become an alcoholic beverage.
- Strain into a glass bottle and store in the fridge.
The speed of fermentation depends on the outside temperature, the type of sugar and the strength of culture. The final product should have a taste of ginger with a specific aroma of leaven. Do not place too long to ferment because it could come to an explosion.

How to make ginger culture?
Culture of ginger is actually a type of fungus, similar to kombucha, which you can do at home.
1-2 root ginger
½ cup sugar
2 cups filtered water
In larger glass jar, mix 3 tablespoons finely grated ginger and 3 tablespoons sugar. Mix with a non-metallic spoon and cover with gauze. Every day, in the first 5 days, add 1 tablespoon grated ginger and 1 tablespoon sugar. Depending on the temperature, ripening can last up to 8 days.
Culture is ready when you see the creation of bubbles, and the jar will be released sweet smell and the liquid will have an opaque color. If appears mold mechanically remove it. If the mixture does not get these features after 7-8 days, discard the contents and try again.
To grow the culture, so continue to feed her with sugar and ginger. You can keep in the fridge and once a week add one tablespoon ginger and sugar.
Culture of ginger you can use for preparing fermented and carbonated beverages in terms, ¼ cup on 1 liter of liquid.
